Manchester United negotiates with Barcelona over a move for Ousmane Dembele, with the Premier League side proposing a season-long loan move for the French international, according to reports.
It has been a far from active transfer window at Old Trafford this summer.
Despite ongoing rumours over moves for a host of players, Donny van de Beek is the only successfully signed player.
It is clear that United need to strengthen in wide areas and, with a deal for Sancho now looking more and more unlikely, it appears the club are now looking elsewhere, with Barcelona winger Dembele the latest player to be linked.
United have proposed a season-long loan deal for Dembele, according to Record Sport, who claim the La Liga side would rather have a sale of €100million.
The report goes on to state that senior Old Trafford officials, including executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward, have already spoken to Barcelona about the ‘viability’ of a move.
