#8 Eric Djemba Djemba (Man United)
10th spot is a player who was so bad, they named him twice. Eric Djemba-Djemba was arguably Sir Alex Ferguson’s worst signing of all time at Manchester United. Brought in to fill the void left by the departure of Roy Keane, the Cameroon international was unable to keep up with the pace of the Premier League and looked more lost than a layman caught in a cross-fire.
In the end, his performances were so bad that, after two seasons, United were more than happy to make a loss of £2 million and sell him to Aston Villa for £1.5 million.
That did little to improve his career as his poor performances meant that an ageing Gavin McCann kept him out of the side before he vanished from the Premier League for good.
