8 Worst Premier League players of all time
#1 Marco Boogers (West Ham)
West Ham started the trend more than a decade ago with the signing of Marco Boogers from Sparta Rotterdam for £1 million in 1995. The prolific (yeah, that’s right) Dutch striker was supposed to bang in the goals for the Hammers.
Instead, his aggressive streak brought a premature end to his career. Boogers played just four games – all from the bench – and scored no goals and had a red card to his credit. He is remembered by the Hammers’ faithful for his horror tackle on Gary Neville and being sent off just minutes after coming onto make his second appearance.
Which begs the question why Sir Alex made the same mistake some many years laterhttp://e9ja.net/8-worst-premier-league-players-of-all-time/https://i1.wp.com/e9ja.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/andrea-silenzi-1488095774-800.jpg?fit=660%2C456https://i1.wp.com/e9ja.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/andrea-silenzi-1488095774-800.jpg?resize=150%2C150SportPremier League
